What you'll taste

When we tailored this tour we wanted to cover all the aspect of city moving from the firmly inland district of St Georg and its expressionist and art nouveau architecture toward Aldstat and its numerous canals and bridges where you can enjoy some old German style houses, that survived the Altstadt fire of 1842 that destroyed about one third of the area, next to Modernist building such as the Elbephilarmonic.&nbsp;As a gate to and from the rest of the world Hamburg has imported and exported flavours that have nowadays defined the city culinary signature, this journey is the perfect opportunity to to discover new dishes,&nbsp; gently push a few limits and burst a few myths.
